Albert Einstein's Two Statements of Faith
How Christians Show Partiality to the Wicked when Believing in the Globe
It is not good to show partiality to the wicked,
Or to overthrow the righteous in judgment. Proverbs 18:5
I was talking with a very good Christian friend about the Flat Earth. Let’s call them Toni for anonymity.
We were discussing Einstein’s admission that he didn’t believe it was possible to observe with scientific experimentation that the earth was moving — yet he KNEW it was moving around the sun.
That’s a statement of faith, not a scientific fact. It could even be called Science Fiction.
You can learn more about the Einstein quote here.
Toni thought that Einstein must have had a good reason for believing that the earth was moving — even though he could not prove it so — otherwise WHY would Einstein make such a statement?
In previous conversations, Toni had agreed that it doesn’t FEEL like the earth is moving. And — even more importantly — we know that the Bible doesn’t say that it is moving. Rather, the Bible says the earth is stationary.
So why would a Christian, who claims that they want to live by EVERY word that proceeds from the mouth of God, trust Einstein’s faith statement over the Bible?
Before I even attempt to answer that question, let me share a little more back story.
Does Einstein’s Moral Character Matter?
At some point in the conversation with Toni, I brought up the moral deficiencies of the beloved genius. Below are a few of his documented moral failings.
Albert Einstein:
Was an adulterer and womanizer1
Blasphemed God and the Bible2
Supported the Zionist movement3
Had some questionable fashion choices that raised speculation that he was a cross-dresser4
Plagiarized and took credit for the works of others, including “his” theory of relativity.5
Toni was offended at me for bringing up the moral failings of such a well-acclaimed hero of science and suggested that I should stick with the evidence and stop attacking the man’s character. “After all, we are all sinners. Einstein was not a Christian and so we shouldn’t expect him to act like one.”
That brought to my mind the scandalous sexual conduct of our past presidents. Does morality not matter at all? Can an unrepentant immoral person be praised for the good they have done (if indeed there is some good)? Should we ignore morality altogether?
Or said another way:
Does Einstein’s Genius Trump His Moral Failings?
Shortly after that conversation, I listened to a podcast titled What Does God Think of the Genius?
There Andrea Schwartz and Dr. Charles Roberts discussed the pagan origins of the concept of geniuses and heroes. The conversation was based on an article by Dr. R.J. Rushdoony.6
Roberts explains: “The current understanding and usage of the term [genius] means particularly bright or smart. Einstein was a genius. Any number of people who have made fame in 20th and 21st Century society and culture … Steve Jobs was a genius ….We use that term to describe someone who is particularly gifted in a certain area whether its mathematics, computers, or art.”
But is our materialist understanding of this concept grounded in reality?
Roberts continues to explain that the concept of genius has its foundation in pagan animism, which sees a certain type of spirit or daemon, an inner spirit, or a genius in many different types of objects or people. “And those with higher gifts and abilities were a higher type of being than the rest of us who are not so gifted.”
I gleaned additional insights about the idea of a “genius” from the article under discussion in the podcast.
The Idea of Genius by Dr. Rushdoony
Dr. Rushdoony7 writes:
The idea of Genius is an important but too little studied aspect of Western history; it is an important pagan concept which still governs our thinking. We can begin to understand what genius means if we recognize that it is basically the same word as the Arabic jinn or genie.
Rusdoony continues to show how dangerous the idea of genius is since it always leads to state worship and tyranny.
The genius of a family, house, group, or state was the protecting, guiding, inspiring supernatural spirit which took care of it and was also the object of its worship. All good Romans therefore worshipped "the genius of Rome." "The genius of Rome" was the divine power protecting Rome, the Roman mission, Rome itself ("divine Rome"), and its heroic leaders and emperors. Godlike men were believed to receive from the gods a special destiny above that of ordinary mortals. These men became the Lares or genius for their time.
It is chilling to note that Dr. Rushdoony wrote his article in 1972. Yet, he understood the trajectory of history when heroes and geniuses rule a society — as is the case in America today.
For some time now, the men of genius have been in search of a society to lead. Some have dreamed of a society of programmed men, as in B. F. Skinner's intellectual nightmare, men with electrodes in their brains to obey the commandments of heroes and geniuses.
Men with electrodes in their brains. Hmm. Reminds me of another genius hero active in our day.
As to morality, the genius has no need for that. He is above it. Rushdoony writes:
The genius believes that he is beyond the law, that he should, in fact, be the organizing force in society today, even as in ancient Rome the genius was worshipped, and, in the person of the emperor, ruled. By the 1830's, the writers of France had come to a logical conclusion of the doctrine of genius: "everything is permitted to men of intelligence." (Cesar Grana: Bohemian versus Bourgeois, p. 47. New York: Basic Books , 1964.)
Is that not what we see today? Heroes and geniuses above the law. They are granted somehow a free pass to behave how they wish. It is their contributions to society that matter most. We ought to overlook their moral failings. After all, they are not Christians. Right?
Wrong!
When the genius is esteemed higher than God’s Law — the genius becomes kin with the destroyer. This is especially true when the state melds with the genius.
The state as the apotheosis and incarnation of genius is proving to be an anti-cultural, anti-human ideal, a destroyer of man and society.
As American Christians worship their heroes and geniuses, while ignoring their moral failings, they make a mockery of Christ, and exalt man above God. The more that Christians esteem wicked men — the more wicked men will rise to positions of power. It’s time to make morality matter once again.
Do you put your trust in Christ or the genius?
If our hope is in a hero or in genius, we will wait for such a leader, and we will get a fuhrer or dictator, and we will deserve him. If, however, we see our calling as prophets, priests, and kings under God and in Christ, we will begin the task of reconstruction wherever we are, because we are the future. The Christians of the Roman Empire were ready to swear allegiance to the emperor, but they refused to swear by the genius of the emperor, and for this they were persecuted (Tertullian: Apologeticus, 32.) Under God, they could not surrender their own calling under God to the will of a man, nor commit their future to the will of man.
When Christians put their faith in heroes and geniuses who blaspheme Jesus Christ, we can expect to have demonic forces take power over our nation — and under our watch.
God has commissioned Christians to disciple the world and teach them the Law of God (Matthew 28:18-20). Sadly, at present, Christians are being discipled by the law of worldliness, trusting in its heroes and geniuses above Christ.
Who Is the Muse?
As mentioned earlier, Dr. Charles Roberts brought up Albert Einstein and Steve Jobs as modern geniuses. Other names were mentioned in the podcast, including Elon Musk, J. Robert Oppenheimer, and Leonard Bernstein. Each of these — despite the Babylon’s Bee faux conversion of Musk8 — are reprobates. The hosts of the Out of the Question podcast do NOT skirt around this issue.
Schwartz says, “I do think we have this view today that the genius…is separated from morality, so that you can be a genius in this area and be a reprobate and somehow or another, both things are true.”
So can one be a reprobate and an exalted genius at the same time? Or put another way, who is inspiring the genius of the reprobate? Has the God of the Bible “filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship9”?
Or is it a different muse, a different spirit at work? The spirit of the world. A demonic entity.
A Haunting Experience
My thoughts on this have been additionally influenced by the Haunted Cosmos podcast. I plan, Lord willing, to do a separate article on this topic called Serpent Gods, Psychedelics, and Human Sacrifice: A Haunting History of the Unholy Trinity that Always Ends in Murder.
However, it’s fitting to share a bit now. The hosts of the Haunted Cosmos reveal a connection between the muse, psychedelic drugs, the devil, and death.
It begins with a human desiring answers or wisdom from the universe, a spirit guide, or a supernatural entity. Psychedelic drugs are ingested to increase their connection with the unseen. The drugs cause a heightened sense of awareness of the universe, a oneness — and everything feels more real than real. Then, a serpent deity or another being enters into the experience. The seeker knows they should be afraid of this dark being — but they choose to embrace the entity instead. Next, they are given secret knowledge that leads some initiates to no longer fear death, others to embrace a “love is all that matters” attitude, some to earn a special skill or gift (become a genius), and others discover that they can gain more power by engaging in human sacrifice.
The muse behind the genius is a demonic deity that bestows special knowledge or ability so the partaker can gain wisdom, peace, fame, wealth, or power. But there is a price. It costs them their soul.
The Muse of Darkness
To lose the fear of death without faith in the Messiah is a steep price to pay for an encounter with the supernatural. This is why demons are called deceiving spirits. They lie. Satan is the father of lies.
Subterfuge is one of the greatest weapons demons employ. And they use geniuses and heroes to spread their deceptions. The demonic entities know how to wrap death and destruction in pretty little packages so people freely partake in their devilish schemes.
Free sex sounds good on the surface, but it leads to empty hearts, murdered children, and no future;
State-run health care seems compassionate and kind, but it leads to medical murder, inefficiencies, and loss of freedom;
Tasty fake food feels good on the palate, but leads to obesity, malnourishment, and chronic illness;
Tyranny disguised as safety gives the illusion of security, but it leads to violations of God-given rights and freedoms, persecution of the righteous, and the celebration of wickedness;
Fantasies of space and a spinning globe seem intelligent and exciting, but they lead men to trust NASA over God, think they are star dust and insignificant, or deny God’s existence.
The list could go on.
Don’t think for one second that any of these are the invention of men. No. Indeed. There is a muse, a genius behind these ideas. Anything promoted that is AGAINST God’s Law has its source from the evil one.
So when you see irrational things happening like lockdowns, the masking of children, and all the craziness of the world — don’t forget what spirit is behind it.
But always remember this: God has given Jesus Christ all authority in heaven and on earth — and He has commissioned the church in His power to take the world for Christ. The devil was defeated at the cross. The muse has no power; the genius is dead; and the hero has fallen.
When the church remembers her role to declare the preeminence of Christ over all things visible and invisible, including thrones, dominions, and powers — we will see these enemies of Christ falling once again like lightning.
Does Morality Matter?
Back to my conversation with Toni.
When discussing Albert Einstein’s moral failings, Toni suggested that we should not show partiality when deciding a matter. We must look at the facts and let those stand. To attack the character of a person is akin to an ad hominem logical fallacy.
We went back and forth about the reliability of witnesses and how lawyers impeach the testimony by proving unreliability on a matter.10 Toni maintained that witnesses could only be impeached if the matter was relevant to the case and — in this case — Einstein’s moral character has nothing to do with his scientific genius. And that I would be better served to NOT bring it up at all.
Does this thinking accord with the Bible?
First, it would be good to have a working definition of a moral and immoral person:
A moral person delights to keep God’s Laws. When they fail, they will confess their sin and forsake it. We can call this person a saint.
An immoral person does not delight to keep God’s Laws. When they fail, they do not confess their sin and forsake it. We can call this person wicked.
The Bible uses the term wicked 342 times in 324 verses in the NKJV. This tells me that God wants His children to distinguish between righteous men (those trusting Christ) and wicked men (those not trusting Christ).
What Is A Wicked Man?
Let’s look at the Strong’s definition for wicked.
H7563: רָשָׁע râshâʻ, raw-shaw'; from H7561; morally wrong; concretely, an (actively) bad person:— condemned, guilty, ungodly, wicked (man), that did wrong. 11 12
We can with a good conscience put Albert Einstein in this category on more than one count: He was admittedly an immoral man and a blasphemer.
Let’s look at seven things the Bible says about a wicked person from the Proverbs.
Proverbs 3:33: The curse of the Lord is on the wicked.
Proverbs 4:19: The way of the wicked is like darkness.
Proverbs 6:12: The wicked (H205) man has a perverse mouth.
Proverbs 11:18: The wicked man deceives.
Proverbs 12:5: The counsels of the wicked are deceitful.
Proverbs 12:26: The wicked lead men astray.
Proverbs 17:23: A wicked man perverts justice.
What applications can we draw from these verses?
First, God recognizes and calls out the wicked. That means that we too should identify people according to their character. We are to be holy, even as God is holy.
Second, God says that wicked men are unreliable witnesses and God’s curse is upon them unless they repent. Einstein never repented. Excluding a death bed confession, the man is in hell. He is no hero. Nor is he a genius in the eyes of God. Rather, he is a reprobate. His ways and teachings are like darkness.
Third, wicked men are deceivers who lead men astray, give deceitful counsel, and pervert justice. Is that not what Einstein has admittedly done?
Consider this deceptive statement: “I have come to believe that the motion of the Earth cannot be detected by any optical experiment, though the Earth is revolving around the Sun.”
Does this sound like a man to trust over reliable senses and the testimony of Scripture? Einstein has no basis but his own mind to declare that the Earth revolves around the sun. It is a statement of faith.
Back to the Original Question
Why would a Christian, who claims that they want to live by EVERY word that proceeds from the mouth of God, trust Einstein’s faith statement over the Bible?
And, why would that person be offended by me bringing up the issue of morality into the conversation?
Proverbs 18:5 says that “It is not good to show partiality to the wicked.”
Here are my three conclusions:
First, the Christian brother or sister in Christ is not willing to identify those who are wicked. Rather, they prefer to count all men equal in the court of heaven. They are failing to “let God be true but every man a liar.”
Second, they are showing partiality to the wicked. Proverbs 18:5 says that “It is not good to show partiality to the wicked.” Toni used the concept of this verse to say we ought to give everyone a fair hearing. Yet, they failed to realize that they were guilty of showing partiality themselves. After all, there are two witnesses against Einstein: 1) Our senses — it doesn’t FEEL like earth is moving; and 2) The Bible — God never once says we are moving around the sun. Actually, the Bible says just the opposite. The sun is moving and the earth is stable. Einstein’s genius trumped two valid witnesses — and Toni showed partiality to the wicked.
Third, Toni is bringing their own suppositions to the table, having been indoctrinated in the globe model since childhood, discipled by astronauts, and has likely fantasized about visiting galaxies far, far way. The idol of space has taken root in their heart unknowingly.
At the end of the day, Toni has decided in favor of Einstein because he or she wants to believe Einstein over the Bible.
Einstein’s Second Statement of Faith
I mentioned previously that Einstein had blasphemed God, and I provided a footnote to substantiate that claim. I’d like to take that a step further by sharing HOW Einstein blasphemed God.
In a 1954 letter written to philosopher Eric Gutkind, Einstein wrote: “The word God is for me nothing but the expression of and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of venerable but still rather primitive legends.” That letter sold at Christie’s auction for around $2.9 million.13
Imagine paying $2.9 million for something that blasphemes God simply because it was written by a scientific hero and genius — who admits they have zero scientific proof that the earth is moving — yet they know it is moving.
We must stop putting our blind faith in men, especially those who are reprobate.
I have no doubt God wants to expose these idolators and tear down their lying globe model — the high place of worship in America.
Will you join me in prayer?
My Prayer of Faith
Lord, crush the idols that are holding men captives to lies. You promise that the house of the wicked will be overthrown. Tear down the idols of NASA. Open eyes to the truth of your creation. Empower Your people to pray once again in faith. You paid for the victory at the cross. May every lie of Einstein and the global elites be exposed from the rooftops so that all may hear. Open the eyes of our friends, family, and spouses to Your marvelous design for this world. Embolden each one of us to speak louder and with more grace. Fill us to overflowing with Your Spirit. Grant us success. You are the Great and Mighty God. Nothing is too difficult for You. Increase our faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
