This is what befuddles me about Bible believing Christians. Proverbs 18:13 says it well—“to answer a matter before one hears it is folly.” The pastors preach against evolution, against big bang theory, and most even believe in a literal 6 days of creation and the young earth understanding of six thousand or so years since the creation. Yet, 99% of pastors still buy the globe lie, though nothing in the Bible speaks of a globe, sphere, ball shape earth or movement of the earth. Literally zilch! Yet an atheist scientist has more influence on a typical pastor’s teachings than THE MOST HIGH GOD, Creator of earth and The Spoken Word itself. Simply unacceptable for anyone to be in a church of such disregard for the truth found in YaH’s Word.

BELIEF about the earth’s shape? What? We don’t KNOW?

I find it hilarious to the point of maniacal that people don’t think about what they’re saying. Words have meaning.

People BELIEVE the earth is a shape yet that say it’s ROUND all the time. Rarely do they say a “ball, sphere, or globe.” Round is not exclusive to a sphere. Globers like Neil deGrasse Tyson know better, which is why he almost always says ROUND. If he said SPHERE specifically, he would have to verify how that sphericity was measured.

And to be fair… most flat earthers also say they BELIVE or THINK the earth is flat. Actually “flat” is not the best description of the terrain. Flat is also not a shape. It’s an aspect.

I KNOW the earth is a horizontal plane because that’s how we treat it, measure it, navigate it, fly over it, map it, build on it, and observe it.
